{{:renders:kronian_colour.png?200 |}}The Kronian Empire was one of the [[Powers]] originating from [[Saturn]] and existing from 4288 to 4941.

In the late 43rd century the [[Outer Planets]] were under threat from the [[Roid War]]. Ollis Kha was elected as the the Grand Commander of a unified Saturn military force to defend the territory from [[Roids]]. Kha built a strong military and secured Saturn space in a series of decisive victories. With the support of the people, in 4288 he was named as the first Emperor of the Kronian Empire.

In the 47th century the [[Paragons]] ceased to exist as a political entity and the Kronian Empire took control of some areas of the [[Belt]].

By the end of the 49th century tensions between the Empire and the other Powers in the Belt led to the [[Tethys War]]. The war ended in 4941, at which point the Empire was no longer a Power in the [[Belt]]. It contracted back to Saturn space in the late 50th century. In the 55th century the [[Ma-Khar Armada]] swept across the Outer Planets and brought the Kronian Empire to an end.
